I thought the food was awesome and everyone is so nice and welcoming!!! I had the beef empanadas and I ordered mofongo with shrimp it was delicious.
When I first moved to Georgia, I took opportunities to vacation in Orlando and go back home to the Bronx to get my Puerto Rican food fix. Well my wife found this place and we tried to yesterday. We ordered a bunch of stuff (which we usually do when we first go somewhere to find out what to order next time). We ordered the Picadera to sample several appetizers. The alcapurrias de carne were great as were the pastelillos. My wife is a fan of the sorullitos and ate those. I order chicharrones de pollo with tostones. One kid had the shrimp mofongo. The other arroz con gandules. All were delicious (cause the parent had to sample their dish of course). This place is definitely a return visit. Know that you may wait for your food since everything is cooked to order but worth the wait. It was a taste of home.
Every time I travel for work I try to find a Puerto Rican restaurant near to where I'm staying. Found this restaurant and happy I did. The food is comparable to my mother's cooking. It just tasted like home and it was just incredibly delicious. Service was great, ambiance was awesome. Just an overall fantastic experience!
